So, what do you guys blog about and how can we help you with it here?
Personally, I blog about topics that I think players and coaches would find useful. Then I also blog occassionally about things I find interesting in the general soccer blogosphere.
FYI - You might be interested to plug your RSS of your blog into your Ziga-Zoga page or posting your blog posts directly into your blog feature on Ziga-Zoga. Doing this will push your post to our front page and can help you increase readers and conversation about your topics.
I am a huge fan of Fiorentina and as there are very few English-language internet sites where one can gain information (news, rumors and commentary) on my club I have started a blog to fill that void and to, hopefully, give non-Italian-speaking Italian Americans an Italian club team to support knowledgeably.
Nick, glad to know you're a Fiorentina fan. If you want to start a Fiorentina forum or group be our guest. This site is pretty flexible to do what you'd like so feel free. You might visit Forza Futbol and chat with Armando as their maybe an opportunity for you to collaborate with each other. Please le me know if there is anything I can to help you.
Does anyone else on here have a blog relating to a specific club? I'd be interested in chatting someone up if they are in a similar boat as me. A lot of things that I struggle with (besides the obvious... time) are blogosphere related. I am reading and learning as time permits but it is all really new to me. So far most of my current readers are Europeans and they don't really understand it either so I don't really get favorited or Digg'd etc...
Nick, I would recommend pick up a book by Robert Scoble called Naked Conversations. It will really help you understand the essence of blogging. Also, are you interested in some of the technical aspects or anything else? Just trying to help....jc
p.s. you might check with mark kennedy or kali on the site. another resource you may want to check out is soccerblogs.net - oscar runs the soccerblogs aggregator and there is an entire list of soccer blogs on his site.
Looks like you got it now. Let me know if you have any other questions. BTW, you might be interested to connect with my partner Steve Arters. He is a former sports writer and he and I would love to chat with you more about collaborating on Red Bulls among other things.
