Today we will discuss round 13 in Serie A - particularly Internazionale v Atalanta and Juventus v Palermo.. We will also review the table, talk news and gossip, and round up the Euro 2008 action and Champions League.
Welcome to another episode of Serie A Talk with Forza Futbol. No live show this week, as we are coming out of an international break, where we saw Italy beat Scotland 2-1 at Hampden Park. Midweek, Italy beat the Faroe Islands on Chiellini and Toni goals. Oh, and did I mention that England were knocked out of the Euros? So much for the Golden Generation.
Our usual procedure is to post one of our many informational interviews on the Italian game. This week however, we'll be delving into something a bit more topical: the recent violence in Serie A, with Steve Wilson, one of the production editors for our favorite magazines, Calcio Italia. So sit back and relax, pull up a chair and join us for an interview with Steve Wilson of Calcio Italia magazine.
Today we will attempt to discuss round 12 in Serie A - particularly Palermo v Napoli and Inter v Lazio- but as the tragic events unfolded in Arrezzo, Italy where a Lazio supporter was shot and killed, we stop and analyze the events from this past week and weigh in. More to come certainly.
Today we will discuss rounds 10 and 11 in Serie A - particularly Roma v Lazio and Inter v Genoa from midweek and Milan v Torino and Juve v Inter from the weekend. We will also review the table, talk news and gossip, and round up the Champions League action.
We are back to our original format as Forza Futbol where we talk about La Liga and Serie A in the same show. To hear this weeks episode you can download it via iTunes, just search for Forza Futbol or go to http://forzafutbol.podbean.com/. This week we discussed Capello to England, we discuss the African Cup of Nations impact on La Liga and we talked about Empoli's goal happy Nicola Pozzi.
