About Me:: 5'10, 175 lbs, 13.3% body fat, sub 50 minute 10k, record for most career saves at my high school, 2007 Overall MVP, Led my high school to its only two winning seasons, 6 games with 20+ saves in the 2007 season, where I played every minute of every game. The best saves I've ever made were in a game where we lost 7-0 and in the final game of my high school career.

I grew up in the Southern USA, where football takes precedence over soccer. I dream of playing competitive soccer for as long as I can, and hopefully being a professional soccer player.

New gloves, new tryouts, new race times

If you didn't know, I spent my entire high school senior year playing with American football receiver's gloves. They have pretty superior grip, but in wet conditions they turn slick. Like they have oil on them. I've never liked any pair of goalkeeper's gloves until I got the Puma V-Konstrukts. I got them last Tuesday and I finally got to play some with them yesterday. I had to take out the finger protection, that's one thing I'll never like.

I need a coach

Living in a small town in the south definitely has its disadvantages for soccer players. I've never been coached as a goalkeeper, but I feel I could be good enough to be a professional. I know I need a coach/trainer to do this. I'm finally going to college in Atlanta in August (very soon). It could also serve as a coaching point of reference. Regarding the tryout, go and do your absolute best man, leave it all on the pitch. Expect high intensity, everyone is there to prove themselves. Although, those who show composure and make minimal mistakes get called back. All you can do is go and give it your all. If you have a chance connect with the guys I mentioned and they both can give you first hand insight to keeper tryouts in the EPL.
